Top Look Thursday---Basic Black

Those of you that know me, know that I am all about the basic essentials. My motto is Layer,Layer,Layer!!! That still holds true for maternity clothing. I highly suggest to my clients to invest in the basics that will last and add the pops of color and trend for less money. Today I wanted to focus in on a basic that at first look you might think is a summer item---but you would be wrong! While you can wear it in the summer, you can wear it year round. You can add a sweater,scarf, or jacket.You can literally use it as a blank canvas for fashion,if you will. In the spring,loose the leggings and just add a light trench coat. My personal way to wear this dress would be with leggings,a scarf, riding boots, and a fedora however the sky is the limit on this number. This dress is a jersey knit so it is very comfy and layers so nicely, even with a long sleeve top underneath.
